Built around the way you work.

Trade experience, put to work in useful software. We’re developing tools that help plumbers move from fitting layout to a clear, readable pipe cut list.

The Pipe Cut Calculator

Less figuring. More fitting.

Start with PVC or ABS, select the fittings at each end of a pipe section, and enter the center-to-center measurement. The calculator uses the selected fitting takeoffs to work out the pipe cut length.

01 / FOLLOW THE FLOW

A familiar way to lay out a run.

The FROM fitting is upstream and the TO fitting is downstream, following the direction of flow. Connection choices identify the appropriate takeoff, including fittings with different run and branch dimensions.

02 / FIND YOUR FITTING

Use the names you already use.

Search by common fitting name, size, or a short nickname. Save frequently used fittings as favorites. Voice entry is being tested for fitting names and feet-and-inches measurements.

03 / TAKE IT TO THE JOB

A cut list you can actually read.

Label pipe sections, review the minimum center-to-center distance, and build a readable cut list. Print a copy or export the list for use during layout and installation.

Experience behind the tools

From a plumber’s working notes to a useful tool.

The goal is simple: make everyday fitting calculations easier to enter, check, and use.

Plumber Assist Enterprises LLC is a Washington company founded by Richard Worley, a plumber with more than 40 years of trade experience and journeyman licenses in Washington and Oregon.

The Pipe Cut Calculator grew out of the fitting dimensions, abbreviations, and layout questions that come up in real plumbing work. Its development includes feedback from plumbers testing it on desktop computers, iPhones, and iPads.

Our focus is practical software with clear measurements, familiar fitting terminology, and results that are easy to read on a screen or a printed page.
